I own quite a few of those guitars & the profiles range from chunky C shapes, through D shapes to soft V shapes, the radius on the rosewood necks is usually 12', but I have 2 Bullet Deluxe guitars that are 14' & one of those has really chunky fret wire that was stock when purchased. The necks always seem to be a talking point, the 1st generation tele type Bullet rosewood necks certainly have different profiles & radius measurements. Let us know how you get on & if you choose to fix the High E problem. Hi Ploppy, the neck on the Deluxe is probably quite different, a bit more on that below, the high E problem is a process of elimination, it could be a saddle problem - easily fixed with allen keys & a screw driver, a high fret which would need attention from a tech or luthier, or it may be a worn groove in the nut, a replacement nut installed by a good luthier would fix that. May give it a clean-up now the guitar looks so good. I'm also lucky enough to have the original case in good condition. Oh, and a bette rqaulity string tree fitted. I'm a bit of an intonation freak and I feel this helps get things abit closer without going nuts (sic) like you have to with the Buzz Feiten system. I have a red body like DogHouse13 but I never really liked the colour. I'm not a 'keep it all original' kind of guy, I prefer instruments that I will use, not to look at in some museum. Anyway, life got in the way and I finally just took it down to my local luthiers that I use. I had some Mojo pick-ups handwound a couple of years ago with the intention of fitting them as a project.
